Noorani Qaida is a premium mobile app for learning to read the Quran, based on the classic Noorani Qaida textbook. Developed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it's available in Bosnian, English, and Turkish, with a hafiz audio model and color-coded tajweed notation.
The app contains 16 structured lessons — from individual letters to reading the first ayat from juz Amma — with a recommended daily session of 8 minutes. Audio is voiced by a qualified hafiz from our region, a tajweed instructor with ijazah in the Hafs 'an 'Ãsim qira'at. The specific identity will be announced together with the app's launch.
The app's visual language is inspired by Ottoman Quranic illumination and Mamluk geometry, executed through the lens of contemporary Islamic minimalism. Warm paper background, two palettes (Classic green and Midnight navy), Instrument Serif italic for headings, Amiri Quran for Arabic text — all with careful restraint.
The app is free to start, with all lessons open. No ads, no tracking, no third-party SDKs. Will be available on the App Store and Google Play at launch — date announced in a press update.
